Job Title: Cashier

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to join our salon team in Kampala. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires integrity, efficiency, and a professional demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
– Greet clients warmly and provide outstanding customer service.
– Accurately handle cash, mobile money, and card transactions.
– Issue receipts, refunds, and change as necessary.
– Maintain the cash register and ensure cash reconciliation at the end of each day.
– Track and report daily sales and financial transactions.
– Answer basic client inquiries and schedule appointments if needed.
– Maintain a clean and organized cashier area.
– Support salon staff with administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
– Minimum of a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE); additional training in accounting or customer service is a plus.
– Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role, preferably in the beauty or service industry.
– Proficient in using POS systems and mobile money platforms.
– Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– High level of integrity and honesty.
– Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
